In Alaska, Putin managed to tell Trump about the “reasons for the Ukrainian crisis.”

The meeting in Alaska brought Russia’s “necessary” decisions regarding the war in Ukraine closer. This was stated by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at a meeting with top officials.

According to him, the visit to Alaska was “very useful” since it was possible to discuss almost all areas of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United States, but first and foremost, the issue of “resolving the Ukrainian crisis on a fair basis.”

“We had the opportunity to talk about the genesis, about the causes of this crisis. And the elimination of these root causes should be the basis for the settlement,” Putin said. 

The Russian dictator said that Russia respects the US desire to achieve a quick end to hostilities: allegedly, Moscow wants the same thing.

“The conversation was very frank and meaningful. In my opinion, this brings us closer to the necessary decisions,” the Russian dictator summed up.
