Well to be honest, plenty of Ukrainians speak Russian between themselves in common life. Ukrainian army has at least same amount of regiments where soldiers and commanders speak Russian as those speaking Ukrainian, and quite often Ukrainian-speaking soldiers switch to Russian. Zelensky himself didn’t know Ukrainian until he became the president – he has learned it since. Still, a number of people in Ukraine’s government speak Russian among themselves when not on camera. But that’s not the point! No country has the divine right to rule people speaking same language! Otherwise, why, let me introduce Great Britain, rightful suzerain over former United States of English-speaking and therefore subject to British Crown people. Also, Spain now rules South America.

As a Bulgarian let me tell u this much – our former (p)resident is a russian project from start to end (9 years ago). When Kremlin realized Orban is goner back in February, they simply pushed the button, activated Radev and made him run for the parliament – pouring a lot of money into his campaign – and here we are again – becoming the new ruzzian trojan horse in EU – which comes with its best perks – poverty & corruption. Thanks for the great job Steve, as usual.
Radev will stop all aid to Ukraine.

Of course he hates the EU. He understands that membership for Ukraine would lift them out of poverty, as it did for Poland.

Poland is now a $1 trillion GDP country; in the world’s top 20.
That is Ukraine’s future once in the EU, which means that they could afford to spend $100 billion per year on defence.
Which is what they need.
