If the runt was wise, he would think about the many, many deaths, cripples and injured in such a war. But, does he care? History has shown that he doesn’t.
I’m afraid you are right. Grozny was an example of the horror that his vile regime inflicted upon innocents. As well as of course the demonic strategy of double tap bombing of hospitals, schools and other despicably inappropriate targets in Syria. Russian forces deliberately fired heavy artillery on apartment blocks in Mariupol and other cities. No sanctions were imposed for those terrible war crimes.
I have a friend in Kyiv who despite having a full time job, has been a volunteer since 2014 for an unofficial charity that I support. They send packages of goodies to the lads on the front line : cigarettes, sweets, toiletries, MRE’s, gloves, socks etc.
She says she will not leave her city and sees it as her duty to help in any way she can. She’s not a fighter, but she has some training as a paramedic. She has studied what happens when a city is attacked and it is far worse than anyone can imagine.
Putler is not an ordinary murderer. He is a psychopath in a position of power: the worst combination you can imagine.
That is why no one should say “bring it on.” Every effort must be made to avert a bloodbath. My solution would be for the allies to provide ground troops and air support, but since they’ve ruled that out, then something will have to be given to putler. Ukraine ruling out future Nato membership will cost them nothing, since they will never join anyway.
Who’s to know what is the best tact with a psychopath? Putin is a bluffer, has been since his days in Dresden. And his kind only respond to power, not hot tea with crumpets. Just my opinion, politely I hope, lol.
Did you see that brief interview with
Mikhail Khodorkovsky?
I haven’t heard him speak before. Now that is a person the west can do business with. Real quality. If only the military would finally remove putler and initiate democratic elections! Khodorkovsky would be a wise president who could lead them into civilisation for the first time in their terrible history!
Yep, and I believe there are more oligarchs like him but naturally afraid to speak. I just don’t believe they will arrive to civilization until they’ve had their Maidan and a pound of flesh.
Your friend is a very decent person. I’m also doing what I can to help. We all here have done what we could, I’m sure.
I agree that Putin is a psychopath. He’s led his country down the path of shit, vomit and poison and as long as he’s in his spit-and-polish mansions and palaces, he couldn’t give a rat’s ass how much his sheeple must suffer. And, if he doesn’t care for his own people, we can imagine how little he cares for Ukrainians and all the rest of humanity.

Yes she is a very fine woman; part of an all women group of helpers. One of her colleagues recently married a Donbas vet who very sadly lost most of his leg to a putinazi landmine.
Your 2014 article is bang on the money. Pity no one took the information on board. Instead people keep making the same mistakes with this sinister tyrant.
I am still glad that the vet has found someone who loves him despite his handicap.
It’s a shame that Vlad’s diseased brain has been known for years, and yet our “leaders” blissfully ignore this fact and treat him as if he were a normal, everyday politician, instead of the crime-ridden psychopath that he truly is.
