The Russian dictator publicly stated that these were “mirror” measures.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has publicly admitted that he deliberately attacked Ukraine. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba reacted to this recognition.

The Foreign Minister wrote about this on  Twitter .

Putin said that Russia allegedly responded “mirror” to help the residents of Donbass.

“Russia, after repeated attempts to resolve this issue peacefully, decided to respond in the same mirror way as our potential adversary acted – by armed means,” the dictator said.

He stressed that he ordered the attack on Ukraine “consciously.” Moreover, the dictator is confident that the war will lead to the “strengthening” of the Russian Federation.

After Putin’s statements, the Foreign Minister called on international partners to support the creation of a tribunal in the case of the crime of aggression against Ukraine. 

“Putin has just publicly confessed to the crime of aggression against Ukraine: “We did it deliberately.” I once again call on all states: support the creation of a special tribunal to investigate the crime of aggression against Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote.

Recall that Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 on a large scale. 

As UNIAN reported earlier,  the Armed Forces of Ukraine  have powerfully updated the statistics of Russia’s losses. Over the past day, our defenders eliminated almost 500 invaders. The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.

In total, since February 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine  have liquidated more than  50 thousand Russian military, more than 2 thousand tanks, more than 400 aircraft and helicopters.
