Pro-Ukrainian Former British PM Truss publicly supported Trump

She believes his policies were more effective.

Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss said that Donald Trump should win the presidential election in the United States .

“I don’t think Biden has been particularly favorable to the United Kingdom. I think he’s often on the side of the European Union. And I certainly think I’d like to see a new president in the White House,” Truss was quoted as saying by Politico .

According to her, Trump’s policies as president were very effective, and he was also more effective in preventing the expansion of aggressive regimes. “I think we would be in a different position if he had been re-elected in 2020,” she said.

Liz Truss’s position on Ukraine:

Truss served as Prime Minister of Great Britain from September 6 to October 25, 2022, the shortest tenure of a British Prime Minister.

She actively advocated for more aid to Ukraine and called Putin a desperate fraudster . “If Putin succeeds, Europe will face untold suffering and terrible consequences for the entire globe,” Truss said.

The prime minister called the war in Ukraine “a war of all,” “Because the victory of Ukraine is a strategic imperative for all of us,” her speech said.
