President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Ukrainian military pilots undergoing training at the International Pilot Training School in Canada to master modern fighter jets, specifically the F-16 and Gripen.

This was announced by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

“I met with our military pilots who are training at the International Pilot Training School in Canada. The guys are training to be ready to master modern fighter jets – specifically F-16s and Gripens – and to strengthen Ukrainian combat aviation,” the President emphasized in a post shared on Facebook.

According to him, Ukraine is doing everything to protect its skies, and skilled, motivated pilots are key to this effort.

“We are proud that here in Ukraine, in our Armed Forces, we have exactly this kind of generation of young pilots,” the President stressed.

Zelenskyy also thanked Canada, all the instructors, and the training center for the high-quality training provided to the Ukrainian pilots.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that 21 Ukrainian pilots are currently undergoing training in Canada.
