US President Donald Trump believes that the ceasefire between russia and Ukraine could be extended.
The White House leader stated this in a speech to journalists, as announced in a statement by the US Department of State.
In particular, journalists asked Trump whether the three-day ceasefire he announced between Ukraine and the russian federation could last longer, to which he answered in the affirmative.
“Maybe. It would be good. I would like it to stop. Russia and Ukraine are the worst thing that has happened since World War II in terms of human losses. 25,000 young soldiers every month. This is madness. So it could very well be,” the American President stated.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, US President Donald Trump announced a three-day ceasefire in the war between Ukraine and the russian federation on May 8.

Does he mean the Red Square ceasefire? because that is all it covers.
There is nothing militarily significant there so sure why not.
