Since the evening of December 13, there has been unrest in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – the occupiers have been trying to repel an air attack. The air defense of the Russian invaders was working, but, beforehand, there had been many arrivals.

According to unconfirmed information from Telegram channels, they may have met “cotton” (data needs clarification):

• Simferopol oil depot, Crimea:
• A facility, likely an oil depot, in the city of Gvardiysk, Crimea;
• Oil depot in the city of Uryupinsk (Volgograd region of the Russian Federation);
• Smolensk DRES (Ozerny, Smolensk region of the Russian Federation);
• Energy on TOT of Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.

Explosions in Crimea

A series of explosions were heard in Crimea on Wednesday evening. According to some reports, an oil depot (perhaps even two) caught fire. The hits were reported in the village of Gvardiyskoye in the Simferopol district and in Simferopol itself.

The local so-called authorities, as of 23:40 (Kyiv time), only reported an alarm, the detection of Ukrainian UAVs in the sky, and the involvement of air defense. The occupiers also called for “trusting only official sources of information.” There was no confirmation of the arrivals at that time from the invaders’ officials or the Russian Defense Ministry.

Explosions in the Volgograd region of Russia

A fire broke out at an oil depot in Uryupinsk , and a drone hit at least one of the tanks. Eyewitnesses published information about this, as well as video confirmation. 

Explosions in the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation

Between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Kyiv time), the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state of Russia reported the “interception and destruction” of 94 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

Seven of them were allegedly liquidated over the Smolensk region. The invaders’ press service shared the following list:

• 41 – over the territory of occupied Ukrainian Crimea (Ukraine);
• 24 – over the Bryansk region;
• 7 – over the Smolensk region;
• 6 – over the Belgorod region;
• 6 – over the Kursk region;
• 5 – over the Oryol region;
• 3 – over the Tula region;
• 1 – over the Kaluga region;
• 1 – over the Lipetsk region.

In local forums, Russians shared their impressions of the explosions and wrote about the Smolensk DRES being hit.

Explosions in occupied parts of Kherson and Zaporizhia regions

The DroneBomber Telegram channel  found confirmation of effective strikes on facilities captured by the Russians and problems with power supply in TOT. Explosions were heard in Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
