The fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko , commented on the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the possibility of political asylum.
Poroshenko published the corresponding post on his Facebook page.
According to the ex-president, “pro-European opposition” is being persecuted in Ukraine, and now even Putin has confirmed this.
Poroshenko turned to the incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky with a request to direct their efforts and the efforts of law enforcement agencies to protect the country, because now, according to the former president, they are “doing Poroshenko more than the Russian threat.”
“And for Vladimir Vladimirovich (Putin – UNIAN) to finally realize that we will figure it out ourselves, here in Ukraine. And the age-old Russian practice of” dealing with “Ukrainian politics and politicians has long ceased,” Poroshenko is convinced.

Poroshenko has a good point. Putin’s offer of asylum for Poroshenko is an embarrassment for the TV clown.
