I’m willing to bet that this incident will not cause any upheavals in voters’ decisions. A few will sway this way and a few others the other way, but at the end of the day it won’t make much of a difference.
A bigger effect would be a dead Trump or a Biden who gets sensible and exits stage left, and a better-suited person taking over.
Though he will get a slight boost in ratings, not sure it would climb as high as the 7.5% increase Reagan saw after the attempt on his life.
In a few days, this is old news and the hype will have evaporated, just like with every other news item.
Yeah, why are two 80-years-old presidential candidates? Bill Clinton is younger than both Trump and Biden and he was president in the 1990’s, when I was born.
