Russia is attacking objects on the territory of Ukraine, including those located near the Polish border
The military command of Poland raised its and allied aircraft in the air in connection with the large-scale shelling of Ukraine by the Russian occupiers. This was reported in the Operational Command of the Polish Army .
“According to the current procedures, the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces Group has activated all the forces and means at his disposal, additional pairs of fighter jets have been put on duty, and the ground air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have been put on high alert,” the message said.
It is noted that the Russian Federation is shelling objects in western Ukraine with cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The Operational Command of the Polish Army emphasized that the fighter jets were raised in the air to guarantee security in territories bordering dangerous regions.
“The operational command is monitoring the current situation, and subordinate forces and means are in full readiness for an immediate response,” the agency added.
The entire country is under red alert.
