Zelensky’s statements about a plan to strike Russia in June do not contribute to “creating a spirit of entering into peace negotiations.”
Amidst Kyiv’s aggressive statements, Russia will continue its so-called “special military operation” (SVO) “until victory,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a comment to Russian propagandists.
He added that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statements about a plan to strike Russia in June do not contribute to “creating a spirit of entering into peace negotiations.”
“Actually, this once again emphasizes and proves who is the main obstacle to getting on the path to peace – it is Zelensky and his regime. Moscow remains open to a peaceful path to settlement. It is better for us. But against the backdrop of Zelensky’s belligerent statements, we must and will continue the special military operation until we achieve our goals,” Peskov said.
Separately, he said that during Ukrainian attacks, drones allegedly fly into the airspace of the Baltic states. According to Peskov, the Russian military is monitoring these incidents.
