Peskov said that Moscow is allegedly “facing hostile social networks.”

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that it has become more difficult for Moscow to “conduct information work abroad.” According to him, the reason lies in the dominant influence of hostile social networks, Russian media reports.
“We are very quickly losing opportunities for our propaganda work abroad. Especially in the near abroad. Television is not very reliable now – it can be turned off with the push of a button,” Peskov told reporters.
The Russian president’s press secretary added that Moscow is allegedly “facing hostile social networks” that dominate in the CIS countries and around the world. He believes that this problem needs to be solved.
“We don’t work with Telegram. Then where is the point for us to prove it? And we have to come up with it,” Peskov emphasized.
