The building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which the Russians struck on September 28, was a “second place of work” for the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valeriy Zaluzhny .

He writes about this in the Telegram channel , Censor.NET reports .

Zaluzhny’s reaction to the enemy attack

“From the very beginning of my service as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences became my second place of work. I knew every corner of this building, where the best of our science and intelligentsia worked. And they knew me,” he writes.

“Today, this very place was attacked, and people close to me died. Only because they loved their country. A raging barbarian dared to use all the described and undescribed crimes against humanity. And all this is happening in the 21st century, in front of the whole world. We will definitely rebuild it, our National Academy of Sciences. It will definitely be there. We will not only return those who died. And, of course, we will never forgive the one who is guilty of this. Condolences to the victims and the families of the deceased,” Zaluzhny summarizes.
