Pentagon removes portrait of former top general who criticized Trump

The Pentagon removed a portrait of Mark Milley, the former chief of staff of the US armed forces, shortly after Trump took office. He has previously called Trump a fascist and a danger to the country. The portrait was unveiled this month and was therefore removed almost immediately.

The Pentagon has not said why this happened. Trump has a strong dislike for the former top general, whom he has called a huge idiot.

Milley was preemptively pardoned by outgoing President Joe Biden. This is intended to protect him from “politically motivated prosecution” now that Trump is back in power.

  1. Sad that we have come so far that a president needs to provide preemptive pardons for those disliked by the incoming administration. What a fuckin mess
