The damage is much more serious than is being reported publicly.
The airstrike on the US Camp Buehring base in Kuwait by an Iranian F-5 fighter jet was the first such incident in many years, writes Militarny .
According to NBC , the facility was protected by air defenses, but the Iranian pilot overcame the air defenses.

The publication cited an assessment by the conservative think tank American Enterprise Institute that other US military bases and military equipment in the Persian Gulf region have also suffered extensive damage from Iranian strikes. The damage is much more serious than the Pentagon admits. Restoration will cost billions of dollars.
According to AEI, Iran has struck more than 100 targets at 11 bases in seven Gulf states. The attacks targeted U.S. and host nation bases in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. The strikes damaged warehouses, command centers, aircraft hangars, satellite communications infrastructure, runways, high-tech radar systems, and dozens of aircraft. Analysts estimate that repairing the infrastructure alone will cost more than $5 billion.
The newspaper’s sources said that the US Navy headquarters building in Bahrain was seriously damaged. In addition, 13 American servicemen were killed during the war, and up to 400 were injured, although more than 90% of them have already returned to duty.
The Pentagon has not publicly disclosed the extent of damage to U.S. military bases, and the military has not provided such details to members of Congress, according to U.S. officials.

The F-5 was produced in 1964. This is very embarrassing for the US.
I don’t even consider this plane to be a real fighter. One version of it, the T-38, is just a trainer.
Like I’ve said before, this war is a total fiasco.
Just think if TACO would have gone to Zelensky and asked for help, instead of arrogantly saying we don’t need Ukraine for anything.
