PayPal electronic payment system has started full-fledged work in Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov with reference to the company’s statement.
“Now you can shop online, transfer funds and withdraw money to Ukrainian bank cards,” Fedorov wrote.
He added that Visa and Mastercard can be tied up now.
“We thank the team that responded so quickly to our request and support the Ukrainians during the war. Also, thank you very much to our team, the team of the National Bank and the IT community for their help,” Fedorov said.
Earlier it was reported that the PayPal payment system will block the electronic wallets of Russians from March 18.
PayPal is an international electronic payment system that provides cross-border services to anyone with a bank card. The company offers payment and money transfer services via the Internet and via smartphone. It should be noted that negotiations on the full launch of PayPal in Ukraine lasted at least 6 years.

I would suggest to everyone reading to have your contacts in Ukraine get accounts with PayPal and test the system to be sure its working and then you’ll be ready in case they need money in the future.
