Participants of pickets against domestic violence detained in Moscow

In Moscow, the police detained participants in pickets against domestic violence. OVD-Info was informed about this by the picketers themselves.

The protesters stood with posters “The law should protect, but not the rapist, but the victim” and “People who decriminalized violence, resign,” writes MBKh-Media.

Five people were detained near the Arbatskaya metro station. The remaining participants of the action moved to the Novokuznetskaya metro station. Six more people were detained there, reports OVD-Info.

The detainees were taken to the Arbat and Zamoskvorechye police stations.

Actions against domestic violence in Moscow and St. Petersburg on November 25 were announced by the SotsFem Alternative movement. Participants planned to hold rotating pickets and organize a chain of solidarity with a white ribbon – a symbol of the fight against domestic violence.

In St. Petersburg, the action took place without detention.

Beating your wife and kids has been de-criminalized in mafia land. There are no legal consequences when you smash their faces and break their bones. Remember! This is a member of PACE, the hypocritical trash organization from the trashy EU and a Security Council member of the worthless UN.
