It is noted that Kerch and the suburbs are without power after fires at four power substations.

On Tuesday, July 30, a major accident occurred at a high-voltage substation in the temporarily occupied Crimea – tens of thousands of residents of the peninsula were left without power, the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA reports .

“After an accident at a high-voltage substation, 360 substations in Kerch and nearby villages were left without power, and more than 53 thousand people are left without electricity,” the report says.

It is noted that the fires started almost simultaneously in the area of the 450th quarter, Mount Mithridat, and the villages of Osoviny and Bondarenkovo. After that, there was an electrical failure. One of the possible causes of the fires is called sabotage.

“Kerch and its suburbs are without power after fires at four power substations. About 53,000 people are left without power. The fire engulfed power facilities in the area of the 450th block, Mount Mithridates, and the villages of Osoviny and Bondarenkovo. There is also no water in the city in the eastern part of Crimea,” the pro-Kremlin Mash wrote about the incident.

Let us recall that it was previously reported that on July 30, the Russian defense plant NPO Avtomatiki im. N.A. Semikhatov, whose main products are control systems for sea-based and silo-based intercontinental ballistic missiles,  was on fire in Yekaterinburg .
