Parade on the verge of failure: another high-ranking guest refused to go to Moscow

Putin is rapidly losing the appearance of diplomatic support on the eve of an important date for him.

India has downgraded the level of representation of its delegation that will visit Moscow on May 9. This was reported by the publication India Today .

Thus, the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will not go to the Moscow parade as planned. It is expected that the Indian delegation will be led by his deputy instead.

It is noted that earlier it was planned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would personally travel to Moscow, but this option was dropped first.

“The change in plans is due to the current tense situation [in relations with Pakistan], when officials prefer to remain in India. Despite this, India seeks to maintain the importance of Indian-Russian ties by sending its representative,” the report said.
