Ukraine is already successfully using new domestically produced weapons against Russian occupation forces. These include the “Palyanytsia” and “Peklo” drone missiles, as well as the “Ruta” missiles.
This was stated by the Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference as part of the forum “Ukraine. Year 2025”, answering questions from OBOZ.UA. The online broadcast was hosted by the YouTube channel of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
“Palyanytsia” is flying. “Hell” is flying. “Ruta” is flying. They are successful, they have military targets, they have hits. I can only thank our defense-industrial complex, our production,” Zelensky said.
He added that this weapon is already in use, and Ukrainian-made ballistics are being prepared.

In December 2024, the President of Ukraine reported on the successful testing of a new missile called “Ruta”.
– At the end of 2024, the Ministry of Defense announced that the “Palyanytsya” drone missile had been launched into mass production . This weapon, some of the tactical and technical characteristics of which are kept secret, was developed by a private startup.
– According to media reports, “Hell” was launched into mass production immediately after the completion of development and codification .
During the press conference, Zelensky also gave figures for Ukrainian weapons production in 2024. These are 154 artillery systems, 2.2 million FPV drones, and 100,000 long-range UAVs.
The money for production went in the following proportions: 30% – the USA, 30% – Europe, 40% – Ukraine. This year, the president expects, our country’s contribution to production will be at the level of 50%.
