A delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has arrived in Kyiv.

Details: Stefanchuk noted that the PACE delegation arrived in Kyiv on dates of great symbolic significance for Ukraine.

He said he had briefed his colleagues on the results of his visit to Vienna and his meeting with PACE President Petra Bayr, as well as on the current security situation. He stressed the need to increase sanctions pressure on Russia and to establish a Special Tribunal to ensure that Russia is held accountable for its crimes.

• Earlier, it was reported that the Council of Europe will hold a series of events in solidarity with the Ukrainian people to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
