The Artan special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has hit over 2,300 targets in the border zone over the past few months of the special unit’s FPV crews’ work. Among the priority targets of Ukrainian intelligence officers is the fuel infrastructure of the Russian troops.
The results of the unit’s work were reported by its commander, Colonel of Military Intelligence Viktor Torkotyuk.
In addition to fuel depots and infrastructure facilities, Artan’s FPV crews hit ammunition depots, armored vehicles, and artillery installations.
The unit emphasizes the importance of strikes on enemy logistics, in particular on facilities that supply Russian troops with fuel. Such attacks are aimed at complicating the supply and support of the occupation forces.
“Artan” is a special operations unit of the Ukrainian military intelligence, which performs combat missions using unmanned systems and other means of destruction.
