Over 150 THeMIS combat unmanned platforms will be provided to Ukraine by the Estonian company Milrem Robotics. The project is financed and coordinated by the Netherlands, and some of the devices will be assembled in cooperation with VDL Defentec.

As Censor.NET reports with reference to Suspilne, this is stated in a statement by Milrem Robotics.
Ukraine will receive from Estonia more than 150 THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles (UAVs), developed by Milrem Robotics.
The supply is financed and coordinated by the Netherlands. A significant part of the machines will be assembled in cooperation with VDL Defentec.
The transfer was first announced in September, but the donor country was not named at the time.
The official signing of the agreement took place on October 6 at the VDL factory in Borne, with the participation of the Dutch Minister of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans.
Milrem Robotics Netherlands, in close cooperation with VDL Defentec, will organize the assembly of the equipment on a new production line designed for scalable production. The company will also train Ukrainian operators and personnel to effectively use the robots in combat conditions.
“The THeMIS platform has already proven its effectiveness on the battlefield, and we are confident that this contribution will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” said Kuldar Väärsi, CEO of Milrem Robotics.
The new vehicles will complement the 15 THeMIS platforms that have been in use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2022 .
