The negotiations took place at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

On Monday, July 8, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban arrived in China . He announced this on the social network X.

In Beijing, Orban met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. They held talks at the Diaoyutai state-run guesthouse, The New York Times reports , citing Chinese news agencies.

Orban described the trip to Beijing as a continuation of the mission for “peace” for Ukraine. “In addition to the warring parties, when the Russian-Ukrainian war ends depends on the United States, the European Union and China. Therefore, after my meetings with the warring parties, we came to Beijing,” Orban wrote on Facebook .

It is noted that in announcing Orban’s visit to Beijing, China’s official Xinhua news agency only reported that Xi would hold “in-depth discussions on issues of mutual interest” with him. The leaders last met two months ago, when the Chinese president visited Budapest as part of an attempt to restore China’s influence in Europe.

Orban’s visit to China comes ahead of a three-day NATO summit in Washington, which begins on July 9.

Orban’s tour

On July 7, UNIAN wrote that the plane of the scandalous Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban flew to China. This happened after the politician’s visits to Ukraine, Russia and Azerbaijan.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced “peaceful steps” towards Ukraine. He also advised politicians to “fasten their seat belts”. Before that, the Hungarian Prime Minister visited Kyiv and then Moscow .

  1. “In addition to the warring parties, when the Russian-Ukrainian war ends depends on the United States, the European Union and China.”

Wait. Did Orban just tell the world that China is helping ruzzia in putin’s war? I don’t believe we heard that coming from China and they are certainly not helping Ukraine…

  2. Hungary rights must be suspended by EU (art 7).

I think an investigation needs to be done to find out exactly what an EU member is doing/negotiating with a terrorist state.
