Republican politicians are increasingly in favor of using the funds allocated to our country to solve the internal problems of the States.

Opponents of regular military assistance to Ukraine are growing in the United States Congress against the backdrop of the midterm elections. Among Republicans, statements are increasingly being made that the money allocated to our country is better spent on fighting China and solving domestic problems.
The portal The Wall Street Journal shared this information in its material .
The constant flow of military aid to Ukraine is losing popularity among Republicans. Politicians are looking to justify foreign spending while the US is facing its own problems, such as high inflation and economic recession. Such rhetoric could intensify if the Republican Party wins a majority of seats in the House of Representatives in the midterm elections.
The vote to help Ukraine after a full-scale Russian invasion came with the overwhelming support of two political forces in the United States. But recently, Republican no. 2 and No. 3 Elise Stefanik, Steve Scalise and No. 3 Republicans, have declined to publicly continue to support our country if their party wins.
“There are many [party] members who want to see more accountability in the Department of Defense and more attention to the threats that exist. China is building up the navy very actively, and our navy is now in decline,” Scalise said.
By the end of the month, Congress must pass a temporary funding bill. It includes $13.7 billion to help Ukraine. It is expected that the bill will be adopted, but further requests of our state to the United States may face significant resistance.
House Armed Services Committee spokesman Ruben Gallego said Republicans are capable of applying the majority support rule. It has been used by previous Speakers of the House and requires the consent of a majority party member for any bill to be put to a vote. In this case, it will become much more difficult to allocate new assistance to our country.

We need to keep the pressure on. I emailed both Scalice and Stefanik this morning. We all need to keep the pressure up.
Idiots.
Also the U.S. Navy is not in decline.
Yes, maybe China may be pooping out more ships than the U.S. currently, but quantity is not quality.
I have no confidence in Scalice or Stefanik and I sure do not want McCarthy as speaker of the house.
