In the Liman direction, pilots of the Phoenix border unit provided air support for offensive operations during Operation Vivaldi of the 3rd Army Corps. They destroyed automobile and motorcycle transport of the Russian occupiers, cutting off logistics and disrupting the delivery of weapons and ammunition to forward positions.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this on Telegram. The agency also published a video of the unit’s pilots in action.
When Russian soldiers left their shelters, Ukrainian drones detected and neutralized them.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that during the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ operation “Vivaldi” in the Donetsk region, about 125-140 square kilometers of territory were deoccupied.
Volodymyr Zelensky called its results very successful and stated that the operation is still ongoing. Austrian military expert Markus Reisner, for his part, noted that Vivaldi demonstrated the possibility of a successful offensive maneuver even in the conditions of a modern “transparent battlefield” saturated with drones. According to him, thanks to careful preparation, Ukrainian forces achieved a significant tactical result in the Lyman area.
