The cancellation of the parades is not only due to the occupiers’ fear of strikes by Ukrainian drones.

What Svitan said:
- The Kremlin will most likely focus on the parade in Moscow
- Russia lacks the equipment to hold parades
- Occupiers fear drone strikes
In the Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, and Lipetsk regions, Russia’s regions are canceling parades until May 9. This year, the reason is not only the occupiers’ fears of possible attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As Roman Svitan, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a pilot instructor, and a military expert, told Channel 24 , another reason why there will be no parades in some cities of the Russian Federation is the operational pause of the occupiers.
The fact is that all the old equipment that previously participated in parades is now being used on the front in Ukraine. The occupiers are preparing new equipment for summer military operations.
Thus, the Russians actually have nothing to hold these parades with. Especially since even if some armored vehicles are found, Ukrainian drones could hit them.
Therefore, as Svitan said, the Kremlin will most likely focus only on the parade in Moscow, and the regions will be left without large-scale events.
“Running with a red flag across any square is a kind of ‘victory’ for them. I think all attention will be focused on the parade in Moscow. We would also need to take part there,” he emphasized.
Russia’s plans for May 9 – what is known
It was previously reported that the Kremlin is preparing to receive a guest from the European Union on May 9. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced his intention to visit Moscow, despite warnings from the EU.
As Glavred wrote, in addition to holding the parade, Russia plans to completely liberate the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine by May 9, which includes an operation through the Sumy region.
However, as stated by former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Stupak, the Russian occupation troops are unlikely to be able to achieve a significant breakthrough on the front by May 9.

“Running with a red flag across any square is a kind of ‘victory’ for them. I think all attention will be focused on the parade in Moscow. We would also need to take part there,”
I fully agree. Even if not a single drone gets through, the thunder of explosions during the parade would be wonderful background music and remind the warmongers that their shithole is also a war zone.
“The occupiers are preparing new equipment for summer military operations.”
Hmm … I sort of doubt that. The roaches would be using them NOW, in order to have something to show for during their holiest day of days, May 9th. At least, a liberated Kursk and Belgorod.
Unfortunately Ukraine and Germany intel backs that up.
Despite huge losses of orcs and equipment, putlerstan is becoming more, not less dangerous.
The entire economy is focussed on the total destruction of Ukraine and there is still no shortage of fucking orcs.
Ukraine needs massive firepower and a doubling of its armed forces. Because the cavalry isn’t coming. As usual.
It needs a huge drone attack on Red Sq on May 9. Putler couldn’t say anything about civilians, it’s a military parade. Seeing the uselessness of the orc air defences, some drones would get through causing chaos.
There’s just one target at the parade and that is the tiny dictator and those celebrating with him. Funny how the Occupiers have to cancel all the other city’s parades so they would have enough equipment to display on Red Square, lol…
Yeah. One T34 and a turtle tank.
