From September 1 to 10 of this year, the “Birds of the Magyar” managed to hit 2,049 targets with their drones, and 1,036 were destroyed . Among them, 726 invaders from the Russian occupation army – only 227 occupiers were wounded, and 499 were destroyed .
Among those killed on September 9 was one occupant with a can of gasoline in his hands . The corresponding calculations and video were shown by “Birds of the Magyar”.

414th Airborne Brigade, also known as “Birds of the Magyar” – a unit within the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Back in 2022, Ukrainian businessman Robert Brovdy created a separate group of UAV operators, which was part of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade. The unit became a company and specialized in the use of strike drones, electronic warfare and electronic warfare systems, remote mining, patrolling , and fire control using drones.
In January 2024, the company was expanded to the 414th Battalion and transferred to the Marine Corps. In June, the battalion was expanded to a regiment, and in December 2024, to a brigade. In February 2025, the “Birds of the Magyar” were included in the “Drone Line” initiative, and attached to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was the “Birds of the Magyar” that struck at the Russian occupation forces on the left bank of the Kherson region from the beginning of the operation in Krynki. And in the summer of 2024, they took part in battles in the north of the Kharkiv region . In August of this year, the regiment was transferred to the most difficult, Pokrovsky direction .

Who is “Magyar”?
Ukrainian military serviceman, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert Brovdi, call sign “Magyar”, was born in 1975 in Uzhhorod, Transcarpathia. His parents are Hungarians. “Magyar” received the title of Hero of Ukraine in 2025; he also has other orders and medals .
And also “Magyar” is a collector and connoisseur of Transcarpathian classical art and Ukrainian contemporary art. He is the founder of the “BrovdiArt” foundation, which promotes Ukrainian contemporary art in the world.
