
In Odesa, one of the longest tram routes in Europe was launched, which runs through the entire city.
In particular, from September 13, as part of the implementation of the “North-South” tramway project, route No. 7 will run from Suvorovsky District to Kyiv District and back.
The Odesa City Hall notes that this is one of the longest passenger city tram routes in Europe (after Belgium). He connected the two most distant districts from each other. Trams will pass through the center of Odessa, in particular through Starosinna Square (near the railway station), where a stop is planned.

The length of the route is about 30 km, on weekdays, according to the city hall, 40 cars (including four – Odissey MAX) will run on the line, the interval of movement is about five minutes, the travel time is 2 hours and 20 minutes. There are more than 60 stops in one direction.
