One of the largest oil terminals in russian port of Ust-Luga catches fire

On the night of March 25, a fire broke out at one of the country’s largest oil pumping terminals in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Oblast of the russian federation after a drone attack.

This was reported by governor Aleksandr Drozdenko and the monitoring channel Exilenova+.

This is a seaport on the Baltic Sea, located approximately 1,000 km from Ukraine, which is used to ship oil products to foreign markets.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this terminal is one of the key logistics hubs of the russian federation for the export of energy resources, in particular, sanctioned oil, with the involvement of the so-called “shadow fleet”.

Drozdenko said that russian air defense allegedly destroyed 56 drones over the region, and rescue services are trying to eliminate the fire in the port. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

The attack on the Leningrad Oblast was also reported by russian Telegram channels. They also posted videos of the fire.

According to available information, in total, about 400 strike drones attacked the territory of the russian federation on the night of March 25.

Recall that on the night of March 23, a large-scale drone attack was announced in the Leningrad Oblast of russia, which resulted in a fire in the oil port of Primorsk.
