The enemy fired two Iskander-M missiles at the city.
Russian occupiers hit the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, with two Iskander-M missiles. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Vadim Filashkin .
“At least 4 people were killed and 34 injured – these are the preliminary consequences of the attack on Pokrovsk as of 14:15,” he notes. He added that among the wounded were two children, 12 and 13 years old. “They are in moderate to serious condition,” notes Filashkin.
The head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration said that police, rescuers, and representatives of local authorities are working at the scene, and the wounded are receiving all the necessary medical care.
Filashkin said the Russians fired two Iskander-M missiles into the city, destroying one private house and damaging 16 others.
“This is one of the largest enemy attacks on civilians in recent memory. Its final consequences are yet to be determined,” he said.
At the same time, he added that there has not been a single safe place left in the Donetsk region for a long time, so it is necessary to evacuate.
Russians are rushing to Pokrovsk
As UNIAN reported, military analyst Sergei Zgurets believes that the Pokrovsky direction today remains the highest priority for Russian troops. He recalled that almost a third of the military clashes over the past 24 hours took place in the Pokrovsky direction.
He noted that the Russians are trying to advance towards the Pokrovsk-Chasov Yar highway. According to him, the enemy is trying to expand the bridgehead near Ocheretino. One of the directions of movement of the occupiers is from Novoaleksandrovka to Vozdvizhenka. Vozdvizhenka is the last settlement in front of the Pokrovsk – Chasov Yar highway, which is already under the fire control of the occupation army. Therefore, the enemy will try to advance towards this route.

Updated at 18.52 . The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports an increase in the number of wounded as a result of Russian missile attacks on Pokrovsk.
It is noted that as a result of the double Russian strike on Pokrovsk, 4 people were killed, and 40 wounded are known, including three children
“In addition to civilians, three police officers who arrived to help people immediately after the first strike were injured,” the statement said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that Russian terrorists struck the same location with two Iskander-M missiles, half an hour apart.
