Human Rights Ombudsman in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova was hospitalized with coronavirus infection. This was reported by sources from TASS and RIA Novosti .
The condition of 66-year-old Moskalkova is assessed as satisfactory, said the interlocutor of TASS.
At the end of April, the Ombudsman announced that she had been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
In June, Tatyana Moskalkova announced that she had received numerous complaints about the mandatory vaccination. She called coercion to vaccinate through threats of disenfranchisement “foul play.”
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov replied that discrimination against people without immunity to coronavirus “will inevitably come”, since they “will not be able to work in all areas.”
