It is noteworthy that the Russians covered the tanks with anti-drone nets – in the vain hope that this would protect them from strikes.

After 05:30, there were reports of new explosions at the same facility. After them, judging by the columns of smoke, there were more sources of fire.

According to ASTRA, the terminal is recognized as an enterprise of strategic importance for ensuring the security of the Russian Federation. Since 2000, it has been included in the register of natural monopoly entities. According to SPARK-Interfax, PNT’s revenue for 2024 amounted to 8.6 billion rubles, profit – 5.8 billion rubles. In 2020, 8.2 million tons of petroleum products were shipped.

As the publication calculated, from the oil terminal attacked today to the Expoforum, where the event has been taking place for the tenth year, it is about 17 kilometers.
