What is known about the Ufa refinery?
In the north-eastern part of Ufa, there are three Bashneft refineries: Bashneft-Novoil, Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim and Bashneft-UNPZ. The Ufa group of oil refineries is one of the most powerful and technologically advanced oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. All three plants are located in the Chernivtsi industrial zone.
The plants are interconnected by a system of product pipelines. Due to their remote geographical location (about 1,300-1,400 km from the border with Ukraine), the Ufa plants were long considered a deep rear. However, recently the complex has repeatedly become a target for attacks by long-range drones.

As OBOZ.UA reported, on October 28, the Azot chemical plant was attacked in the Tula region. It is very important for the enemy’s military-industrial complex: according to the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the enterprise supplied nitric acid to the Sverdlov plant in Dzerzhinsk, which produces explosives.
