“In the Kuban, an oil depot in the village of Kavkazskaya continues to burn after the attack. According to the Ministry of Emergencies, an oil transshipment point was attacked. The agency reports that the pipeline between the tanks was damaged, and the fire covered 20 square meters. The fire was assigned the 4th rank. Now the enterprise has completely stopped its work,” the message states.

The attack on the facility was carried out on the night of March 19. Local authorities stated that “the drone attack was repelled.”

“Due to falling debris, a fire broke out at an oil depot located near the station. The pipeline between the tanks was damaged. The automatic fire extinguishing and cooling system was activated. 105 people and 45 pieces of equipment, special and emergency services are working at the site. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. 30 people from the next shift were evacuated,” the Krasnodar Territory Operations Headquarters said on the morning of March 19.

Subsequently, the Operational Headquarters stated that the area of ​​the fire had increased to 1,700 square meters.

“Kavkazskaya”, according to ASTRA, is a key facility that ensures the export of Russian oil. The station is connected to a railway oil terminal and a connecting pipeline leading to the Kropotkin NPS-6, which is part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system.

“In the same area is the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which was disabled by the attack on February 17, 2025, the company itself reported,” the journalists recalled.
