Two officers of the State Security Committee were killed in the Gomel region of Belarus . They were blown up by a Russian anti-tank mine.

Nasha Niva writes about this with reference to its own sources.

According to journalists, this happened on the territory of a camp set up by Russian invaders not far from the border of Ukraine. Information about the incident of the state structures of the republic is not advertised.

“The Russian formation set up a camp in a forest in the Gomel region, in the area of the Polessky ecological reserve. They did everything according to military science: they dug in, mined the approaches from several sides, became a camp. They did not know where they were. They could think that in Ukraine. Through for some time they received an order to move south. They abandoned their positions, even forgot a few boxes of ammunition,” the source said.

It is reported that a forester stumbled upon the traces of the camp while walking around, noticing boxes of ammunition, and said “where to go.” The place of the find was taken to be shown to the KGB officers, who blew themselves up, probably by running into it. As a result, the security forces died, the fate of the foresters is not reported.
