Power engineers noted that the situation in the Odessa region is difficult.

Residents of Odessa and the region were warned about the difficult situation in the energy system as a result of the attack by the Russians on the night of December 10. Restoration work can take up to two to three months.

“Odessa and almost the entire region remain without electricity. The situation in the energy sector of the Odessa region remains difficult,” DTEK said in a statement .

At the same time, the Department of Life Support Systems and Energy Efficiency of the Odessa Regional State Administration reported that it would take much more time to restore damaged facilities in the Odessa region than in previous times.

“We are not talking about days, but even weeks, and it is possible that 2-3 months. We understand how difficult it is to be without electricity for such a long time. If you understand that in the near future it will be difficult for you to do without electricity and you have the opportunity temporarily leave the city of Odessa for the Odessa region or beyond, then it is worth doing,” the message says.

At the same time, Andriy Pasechnik, one of the users of the social network Facebook, asked on the page of DTEK Odesa Grids about the absence of electricity for up to three months.

“Energymen are doing everything possible to improve the situation. We will provide light whenever possible,” the company said.

On the night of December 10, Russian occupiers hit energy infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region with Iranian kamikaze drones, due to which Odessa and most of the districts were left without electricity. As a result, emergency blackout schedules were applied .

According to the speaker of the Odesa OVA Serhiy Bratchuk, two drones were shot down in the sky over the region.
