An entire family from Odessa was killed in Iran’s recent massive strike on the Israeli city of Bat Yam, a suburb of Tel Aviv.  

As historian and journalist Shimon Briman reported on air at Suspilne, shortly before the tragedy, people came to Israel for treatment.

The family consisted of a mother, a daughter, a grandmother and two young nephews. An Iranian missile hit the house where they lived.

“These were Ukrainian citizens from Odessa who came to Israel for treatment of their daughter. Yesterday evening there was a short press release from the Ukrainian embassy in Israel about this tragedy,” Shimon Briman noted.
