On the night of Monday, April 21, Odesa was attacked by Russian “Shahed” kamikaze drones, and residents reported explosions.

Updated at 22:30 : Explosions are heard in the city, a massive attack by enemy UAVs is underway, writes Trukhanov. According to the channel “Nikolaevsky Vanek”, 26 “shaheeds” are flying to Odessa.

At 10:00 PM, a warning appeared on the Telegram channel of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that strike drones were flying in the direction of Odessa. Soon after, the city’s mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, reported that explosions were heard in the city:

“I ask all residents of the city to stay in safe places.”

“Truce” in Ukraine

As a reminder, the “Easter truce”, which formally lasted from April 20 to 21, has ended, but President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed continuing it by renouncing drone and missile attacks on civilian infrastructure.

Kremlin leader Putin responded by saying that Moscow would “analyze” the proposal. However, it is worth noting that Russia has not stopped shelling Ukrainian territory.
