The enemy launched two guided air missiles from the waters of the Black Sea and 29 attack UAVs.

At night, Odesa was subjected to a massive combined attack by the occupying Russian army. A young woman died, 10 people were injured, including a child.

As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of November 15, starting at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, the enemy launched a combined attack on Odesa region.

In particular, the enemy launched two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the Black Sea and 29 “Shahed” attack UAVs from the regions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF) and temporarily occupied Crimea. As of 08:30, one Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 25 drones were downed. The vast majority of aerial targets were shot down in Odesa.

According to the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 35-year-old woman, a resident of a five-story apartment building in a residential area of ​​the city, died as a result of the attack in Odesa. 10 people were injured, 8 of them were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity. A child is among the wounded.

“9 high-rise buildings, educational institutions, service station premises, a church, commercial facilities, a main heat supply pipeline, private garages and more than 40 vehicles were damaged. The enemy also targeted Odesa’s port infrastructure,” the message says.

An investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The survey is ongoing, a complete list of destruction and damage is being established.

According to the mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, the woman who died was at home: the bed she was sleeping on was near the window. In general, the destruction and fires that occurred as a result of the Russian attack were recorded in 7 places in the city. As the mayor noted, utility workers worked throughout the night and managed to restore the pipeline, which was damaged in several places. It is planned that heating will be restored in more than 200 residential buildings, medical, educational, etc. institutions within a few hours.

The head of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council, Olena Buinevich, clarified that two schools and three kindergartens were damaged – broken windows, frames, etc.

“Painful and familiar algorithm, they make a mess to us – we repair, wear, clean, fix again. What kind of consciousness is so distorted, to demolish housing, children’s institutions, hospitals, kill, maim. What kind of upbringing is this…”, Bunevich states.

Russian attack on Odessa

We will remind you that Odesa was under a massive attack by the Russian army , fires broke out in the city, and the main heat supply pipeline was damaged. 220 apartment buildings (40,000 residents), 7 kindergartens, and 4 schools remained without heat supply.

The boiler house also served one of the city’s maternity homes, where 28 mothers and 22 babies are currently staying there. A woman died, among the injured is a 9-year-old boy, he is in the hospital in a moderate condition. A 22-year-old boy was also hospitalized in serious condition. The other victims are in a condition of medium severity.
