In the Kherson Region, Russian occupiers are planning to evacuate back to Crimea.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
“In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Region, representatives of private security campaigns from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea plan to evacuate back to the peninsula,” the General Staff said.
In addition, according to the agency, in order to search for Ukrainian saboteurs and partisans, the occupiers imposed a curfew and intensified filtering measures in the village of Rubizhne, Luhansk Region.
Also, information continues to be received about the Russian invaders’ mining of infrastructure facilities in the city of Enerhodar.
In the Pivdennyi Buh direction, the occupiers continue to regroup and withdraw their units, shelling more than 30 settlements along the contact line with tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery.
In particular, Velyke Artakhove, Bilohirka, Blahodativka, Andriyivka, Pervomaiske, Liubomyrivka, Soldatske, Pravdyne, Myrne, and Oleksandrivka.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as the counteroffensive of the AFU develops in certain areas of the front, the movement of collaborators cooperating with the enemy deep into the occupied territories is observed.

“In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Region, representatives of private security campaigns from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea plan to evacuate back to the peninsula,”
It’s always the same. First, the bigwigs and other upper echelon cockroaches flee, leaving the common cockroaches to cover their asses. Maybe the common cockroach soldier will finally have learned their methodology and also evacuate.
The just-add-water experts said it would take years to free Kherson and Crimea and now it looks possible to complete by the end of 2022. I’m no expert with or without water but it seems to me there isn’t much but meat puppets standing in our way.
Seems like an excellent reason to chase them there, AND win back the Crimea! A two-for-one win, yes!
Of course, it may be possible that especially in the situation of many countries facing severe inflation against their economies, that Ukraine should focus its efforts on defense and more economic development. At least definitely after taking back Donbas and Luhansk. Ukraine should go for the Crimea, but I’m sure the war has devastated quite a bit of Ukraine’s economy.
I’m not sure, is it Luhansk or Lugansk? I’ve seen both spellings from other places.
It’s spelled with a “g” [Ukr. – “г”] – Lugansk [Луганск]. Some pronounce it with a “g” and some with a “h”.
A “g” is pronounced as an “h” in Ukrainian. A good example : hryvnya. (гривні).
Sometimes “Г” is pronounced as “g,” particularly by native speakers from central and eastern parts of Ukraine, because in Russian “Г” is pronounced as “g” (often as “B” [v]). Many Ukrainians do not speak flawless Ukrainian, but rather a blend of the two languages called Surzhyk, thus, the “g” is sometimes pronounced instead of “h”.
I had heard of Surzhyk, but had forgotten that word until you reminded me! I guess it will be slowly phasing out now. As mentioned previously, I only recently found out that the putinazis have succeeded in turning a previously 100% Russian speaking city; Mykolaiv, into a 100% Ukrainian speaking city!
I can remember villagers near the orc zones saying they always knew when they heard them talking behind the trenches “because they use g when we use f.”
That’s right. The war is the beginning of the end of ruskie as a major language in Ukraine. My wife is using much more Ukrainian now and she is a lifelong Russian speaker. I know others too who want to change or have changed.
