Occupiers 5 kilometers from Mirnograd: Bezugla criticizes preparations for defense

Blocking pyramids worth more than 32 million hryvnias were ordered, she says.

The authorities of the city of Myrnograd , which is being approached by the Russian invaders, ordered barrier pyramids with delivery by the end of the year.

This was reported by a non-factional People’s Deputy, deputy head of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Maryana Bezugla. “Now the fighting is already 5 kilometers from Mirnograd! The situation in Pokrovsk is no better, it’s less than 10 kilometers away,” she wrote in her Telegram channel .

According to Bezuglai, about 30,000 people remain in Myrnograd, but there are no fortifications in the city. The deputy blames the military headquarters together with the administrations and the Ministry of Defense for such preparation of the city for defense.

“How the local authorities of Myrnograd are preparing for the defense of the city: they have ordered blocking pyramids for over 32 million hryvnias with delivery by December 31, 2024!” – noted Bezugla, urging the residents of Pokrovsk, Myrnograd, Novoeconomy and Novogrodivka to evacuate as soon as possible.
