On the night of August 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga complex in Slobodka, Leningrad Region, Russia.

A fire was reported at the scene. Two processing plants were previously affected.

“NOVATEK-Ust-Luga” is a production and transshipment complex designed for fractionation and processing of stable gas condensate. Capacity – almost 8 million tons of raw materials per year.

“The complex’s products are used in the military-economic activities of the Russian Federation and are involved in meeting the needs of the Russian Armed Forces,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recalled.
