American journalist Tucker Carlson has reported that his interview with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, may soon be released.

Details: He said “looks like we’ve got the Zelenskyy interview.”
Carlson also emphasised that he had been trying to arrange this interview for two years, with particular intensity after the interview with Putin in February.
Quote: “The point is to bring Americans much-needed information about the conflict that’s completely reshaping their country’s position in the world. Coming soon we hope.”
Background:
- On 6 February, notorious former Fox News host Tucker Carlson conducted an interview with Russian leader Vladimir Putin – the reason for his visit to Moscow – and said he had requested an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
- On 9 February, in an interview with Carlson, Putin claimed that he wants “to achieve a resolution of the situation in Ukraine through negotiations”.
- In a podcast hosted by American journalist Lex Fridman, Carlson described his impressions of his interview with Putin and admitted that the Kremlin is trying to demonise Ukrainians by calling them Nazis. “I thought it was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard,” he said.

The impression I got from the end of Denys’ video is that the interview has already been agreed to.
I think Zelensky has to do it since that farce with putin. Zelensky will empty Carlson’s quiver.
I agree. It’s an opportunity to inform Carlson of exactly who he sat with drinking tea: a vile war criminal intent on wiping out an entire population of people; a twisted psychopathic terrorist the likes of which the world hasn’t seen since hitler and stalin. It’s an opportunity to set the record straight.

Fucker Karlsonov has built up an audience that consists almost exclusively of magaputler shitheads who hate Ukraine and revere fuhrer putler.
Two things. 1) This type of interview will be seen by significantly more than Carson’s fans – it’s of general, world-wide interest. 2) To ask: who gains? has a defeatist tone, as if it will be a waste of time to counter russian propaganda. I think you’ll agree that it’s worthwhile if thought of in this way. At a minimum, Carlson will get to interview someone involved in this war that actually makes sense when he speaks. I’m optimistic this won’t be lost on Carlson – that meeting with Putin was hours of jibberish.
As Roman Sheremeta correctly observes, Fucker Karlsonov is a Russian propagandist. You might just as well have the sulphurous Margarita Simonyan interview him.
If I was advising Zel, I’d say the only way I’d sit down with a weasel like that is if he agrees to visit Bucha, see the horrors and speak to the survivors there.
Well, simonyan wouldn’t say that Putin said the stupidest thing she’s ever heard.
That would be a right thing to do, Scardge. Make the ruskie skid mark visit sites of horror, so the fascist asshole can see for himself what he’s been rooting for.
The entire world saw it as nonsense (Putler interview) but this didn’t stop Carlsov from still being just another shit stain on the runt’s underwear.
There’s a chance that they are so deeply stuck in fascist swamp, they will never get out again, no matter what evidence you offer them. I guess only a few would see the light and grab hold of a branch.
I don’t believe Zelensky should go anywhere near him. The interview will be biased and even if Zelensky was persuasive, you don’t know how the interview will be edited. I wouldn’t trust Carlson for a second.
