It is currently known that North Korea has supplied Russia with about 28,000 containers of weapons and artillery shells

North Korea continues to supply Russia with artillery shells to support its war against Ukraine. The total amount of such aid exceeds 12 million 152-millimeter shells, South Korea’s military intelligence reported, Yonhap reported .
According to a report by the country’s Defense Intelligence Agency, as of today, the DPRK has likely delivered about 28,000 containers of weapons and artillery shells.
“If we calculate based on 152mm single shells, (the number of shells delivered) probably exceeded 12 million,” the intelligence service emphasized.
Yonhap recalled that since October last year, North Korea has transferred conventional weapons and about 13,000 troops to Russia to support Russia’s war.
“North Korea is likely to send additional troops to Russia in July or August, Seoul’s intelligence agency reported in late June. Russian media reported that North Korea would send 5,000 military construction workers and 1,000 sappers to Kursk to support recovery efforts,” the material added.
North Korea and Russia – latest news
Earlier, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made an important statement about participation in the war in Ukraine during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov . He assured that his country is ready to “unconditionally support” all of Moscow’s actions in aggression against our state.
“Kim Jong-un confirmed the readiness of the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) to unconditionally support and encourage all measures taken by the Russian leadership to eliminate the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis,” the North Korean state news agency said.
At the same time, Forbes wrote that the aid to North Korea demonstrates Russia’s critical weakness in the war. The article says that for Russia, the benefits of this partnership are obvious, because it desperately needs more troops.
“Given the losses, Putin cannot risk another politically unpopular mobilization campaign. Using non-Russian fighters gives Putin time to rebuild his army… While Putin recruited people from Somalia, Sierra Leone, Cuba and Nepal, the partnership with North Korea offered greater advantages and a much greater flow of troop deployments,” explained Natasha Lindstedt, a professor at the University of Essex.

I sure wish South Korea would do more for Ukraine than offer intel. Ukraine is absorbing a lot of evil that was made for them.
