SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Yonhap) — North Korea blew up its side of roads connected to South Korea, the military said, after vowing to cut off the roads and railways once seen as symbols of inter-Korean cooperation.

“North Korean has detonated parts of the Gyeongui and Donghae roads north of the Military Demarcation Line at around noon,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

The JCS said it has bolstered its surveillance and readiness posture.

      • I agree. I wonder whether the West will do anything, but nothing, with the North Koreans entering the war. Oh yeah I know, they’re going to add sanctions but also they may get serious and waggle their finger while they say, We Demand.

        • An afterthought…how can anyone live with themselves by ignoring the genocide, the destruction on civilians. Just shows how infiltrated we are by Russian and Chinese agents.

          • It also shows us how primitive we still are, despite it being the 21st century. And, we’ve learned nothing from history.
