The first drone hit the nose of the bomber, and the second UAV struck again in the area of the fuel tanks.

Special forces of the Omega Special Operations Center of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed a Russian Su-24M bomber at the Saki military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by the commander of the NGU, Oleksandr Pivnenko, on Facebook .
He noted that the operation was carried out by combat divers from the Omega Central Submarine Command. Pivnenko emphasized that they confirmed their ability to deliver high-precision strikes on priority enemy targets deep in their rear.
“After identifying the relevant target, careful planning of the operation was carried out. At the moment when the aircraft was preparing for a combat sortie to deliver the next strikes on the territory of Ukraine, the Omega strike drones hit the target,” said the NGU commander.
Pivnenko reported that the first drone hit the nose of the bomber, and the second UAV struck again in the area of the fuel tanks, finally destroying it.
“This result is another confirmation that the National Guard of Ukraine is systematically increasing its capabilities to use strike unmanned systems at a significant operational depth,” the NGU commander added.
In addition, Pivnenko said that units of the 1st Corps of the Azov and Charter NGUs are also effectively carrying out combat missions at distances of over 100 kilometers. According to him, the main targets are logistical routes, ammunition depots, control points, air defense systems, as well as places of concentration of enemy personnel and aircraft.Read also:
“Such strikes significantly weaken the enemy’s combat capabilities, disrupt its support system, and force it to divert significant resources to protecting its own rear,” Pivnenko noted.
