Defense Express CEO Serhiy Zgurets says the main task is to quickly move from successful ballistic missile tests to testing the entire system.
He said this on Espreso TV.
“So far, only the ballistic missile has been tested positively. But it should be understood that the missile is one of the components of the complex, which also includes launchers, chargers, and command vehicles. It can be assumed that this missile is a development of the Sapsan operational and tactical complex, which has been developed for a long time at the Pivdenne Design Office. Potentially, this missile can have a range of up to 500 kilometers and a warhead weight of 460-490 kg. That is, it is something more powerful than ATACMS and can be compared to the Russian Iskander missile,” Zgurets explained.
According to the military expert, some fragments of the Sapsan system have been demonstrated at parades. The development of the ballistic missile was included in the state missile program and remains a priority, along with the improvement of the Neptune cruise missile. These projects need to be developed in parallel and quickly enough.
“Currently, the main task is to go from successful ballistic missile tests to full-fledged tests of the entire complex and ensure mass production of the missile as soon as possible,” Zgurets emphasized.

Better than ATACMS? That’s a tall order. But, I wish it to be so. That is perhaps the only way to strike deeper into the shithole with a hard-hitting punch, since the pathetic clowns in Washington and Berlin are still too afraid.

I was reading the other day that one of the reasons that Ukraine can’t use Storm Shadows in mafia land, is because they contain some US electronics and chips. Yet it appears the US have no problems with mafia land attacking Ukraine with missiles containing over 100 parts made in the US.
The number of lame excuses why Ukraine shouldn’t use US weapons deep in mafia land is getting longer and longer, and none are viable.
