New Russian law: Fighting in Ukraine against lower debt

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a bill Saturday to recruit more troops for the war in Ukraine.

Those who sign up to fight can have debts of up to 10 million rubles (more than 90,000 euros) forgiven. The Moscow parliament approved the proposal earlier this month. In the almost three-year conflict, Russia is constantly looking for new soldiers. According to experts, this law can be a strong motivation for Russians to sign up. The law is especially interesting for young people, because they often have loans. In Russia, extremely high interest rates apply to loans and many Russians have almost no savings. The law also applies to the spouses of the recruits.

The word “can” is very important here. Basically it means not a fucking chance.

    • That’s just another step into financial ruin for mafia land.
That’s just like many other scams in the commercial world, when they say “can”, “could”, “might”, and “up to”.
